Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert was born on January 27, 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist and an ex-official of the government. Heather was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.



 



 Prior to her posts at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy in the Trump administration from March 2018 until October 2018. Nauert was named by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, and the White House Commission on White House Fellowships in the year 2019.
